1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and HEYLILAC LTD ("HeyLilac", "we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of our website, web application, and any related services we provide (collectively, the "Service"), including any future mobile applications published on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Changes to These Terms and the Service
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the latest version took effect. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service over time as we evolve and improve the product. Where possible, we will communicate significant changes in advance. For paid subscribers, we will honour your current billing period for any changes to features you have already paid for.
4. Eligibility (Adults Only)
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service.
You may not use the Service if doing so would violate applicable laws, regulations, sanctions, or export controls.
5. Education and Coaching — Not Medical Care
HeyLilac provides sexual wellness education and coaching tools, including AI-powered conversations, exercises, and informational content.
The Service is not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, mental health therapy, counselling, or crisis support.
If you believe you may be in danger, experiencing a mental health crisis, or at risk of self-harm or harm to others, contact local emergency services immediately.
6. AI Disclosure
The Service includes AI-generated responses. We work hard to make our AI helpful, accurate, and appropriate for sexual wellness education. However, like all AI systems, it has limitations and may occasionally produce responses that are incorrect, incomplete, or not suited to your specific situation.
You agree you will use your own judgment and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate. The Service does not guarantee outcomes (including relationship, sexual health, or wellbeing results).
7. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We use third-party service providers (for example: payment processors and infrastructure providers) to operate the Service. Please read the Privacy Policy for details.
Do not share sensitive identifying information in chats (for example: full names, addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, or payment details), even if the Service includes protective measures to reduce accidental disclosure.
8. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Keep your account information accurate and up to date. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@heylilac.com.
9. Subscriptions, Trials, Billing, and Refunds
We may offer free trials, subscriptions, and one-time purchases. Current pricing and plan details are shown during checkout and/or on our pricing page.
Free Trial (Current Policy)
We currently offer a 3-day free trial that includes unlimited text messaging and approximately 10 voice minutes. No payment is required during the trial. Your trial converts to your selected paid plan unless you cancel before it ends. We aim to send a reminder 1 day before your trial ends.
60-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Current Policy)
If you cancel within 60 days and have used less than 20% of your allocated voice minutes (or equivalent text chat time) for that billing period, you'll receive a 100% refund. If you've used 20% or more, you may still be eligible for a partial refund for the unused balance. Minutes and other features may be revoked in case of a refund.
To request a refund, cancel your subscription from your account settings and select the refund option (where available). Refunds are typically processed automatically within 14 business days. If you need help, contact support@heylilac.com.
For value packages, refunds are generally prorated for the remaining balance within 60 days of purchase. Please email support@heylilac.com to request a package refund.
Purchases made through Apple or Google may be subject to their billing, cancellation, and refund policies, and you may need to request refunds through the relevant app store.
Payment processors
We use third-party payment processors to handle payments. We do not store your full payment card details.
10. Content Policy (Part of These Terms)
Our Content Policy is incorporated into these Terms and applies to your use of the Service.
In short: HeyLilac is for adult sexual wellness education and coaching, not explicit or erotic content, sexual roleplay, therapy, medical advice, or crisis care. We do not engage with topics involving minors, exploitation, non-consent, or illegal activity.
11. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes and only as permitted by these Terms.
The examples below are not exhaustive. We may restrict or suspend access when we believe misuse is occurring.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation
- Share or resell your account or login credentials
- Harass, threaten, shame, defraud, or harm others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or restricted areas
- Interfere with the Service (including malware, abusing endpoints, or causing excessive load)
- Circumvent, disable, or bypass safety or security features
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission
- Use bots, scripts, or automated methods to access the Service (except where we explicitly allow it)
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover source code, prompts, model instructions, or underlying systems (except where prohibited by law)
- Use the Service or outputs to build, train, benchmark, or improve competing models or services (including via dataset creation), unless we explicitly permit it in writing
- Use the Service to generate or request content that violates the Content Policy
12. Your Inputs and Our Outputs
You retain any rights you may have in the text, voice, and other materials you submit to the Service ("Inputs"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, process, and transmit your Inputs as needed to operate and secure the Service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
The Service may produce responses, suggestions, and other generated content ("Outputs"). Outputs are provided for informational and educational purposes only and may be similar to content provided to other users. You are responsible for how you use Outputs and for ensuring your use complies with these Terms and applicable law.
13. Our Intellectual Property
We (and our licensors) own the Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property rights ("HeyLilac Content"), except for Inputs you provide.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service and HeyLilac Content for your personal, non-commercial use.
14. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you agree we may use it without restriction or compensation to you.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service integrates with carefully selected third-party services (for example: payment processors, analytics providers, infrastructure providers, and app stores) to deliver a reliable experience. While we choose our partners thoughtfully and hold them to high standards, we cannot control their services or policies. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
16. Mobile Apps and App Store Terms
If we offer the Service via a mobile app, your right to use the app is limited to a personal, non-transferable license on devices you own or control. Apple and Google may have their own rules for payments, cancellations, and refunds, and those rules may apply in addition to these Terms.
To the extent required by applicable app store terms, the relevant app store may be a third-party beneficiary of these Terms for the purpose of enforcing them.
17. Availability, Security, and Maintenance
Security and reliability are core principles in how we build and operate the Service. We use industry-standard practices to protect your data and maintain uptime, and we continuously work to improve our systems.
That said, no online service can guarantee 100% availability or absolute security. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, upgrades, unexpected outages, or factors beyond our control (such as internet infrastructure issues or third-party service disruptions).
You are responsible for maintaining your own devices, software, and internet connection, and for using reasonable security practices on your end (such as keeping your devices updated and using strong passwords).
18. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, the Content Policy, or applicable law, or if your use creates risk or harm to other users, to us, or to the Service.
If we suspend or terminate your account, you may not attempt to create a new account to evade enforcement.
19. Disclaimers
We are committed to building a high-quality service and stand behind what we offer. However, to the extent permitted by law, we cannot make formal legal guarantees about the Service. This means the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
This legal language does not change our commitment to you as described throughout these Terms.
20. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you have paid nothing, £0).
21. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HeyLilac and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your Inputs, or your violation of these Terms.
22. Governing Law and Courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may be able to find information about dispute resolution options via Consumer Redress in the EU: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_en.
23. Electronic Communications
You consent to receive communications from us electronically (for example: by email, in-app messages, and website notices). You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice.
24. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms (and the Privacy Policy and Content Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms and our rights and obligations at any time. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent.
- No partnership: Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship.
